A critical step in developing an assessment program is choosing and implementing the most appropriate data analysis methods. The following sections include discussion and recommendations of standardized methods of data analysis for each assessment level:
- Data analysis for Visual Inspection
- Data analysis for Capacity Testing
- Data analysis for Synthetic Runoff Testing
- Data analysis for Monitoring
Note that some of these sections require familiarity with mathematical terms and manipulation techniques such as arithmetic averaging, logarithmic functions, and integration. Examples using assessment data are provided throughout the sections, and additional examples can be found in Case Studies.
